Privacy Policy

Corrective Cosmetics attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this Privacy Policy, we aim to provide clear and transparent information about how we handle personal data.

We do everything we can to safeguard your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care. Corrective Cosmetics complies in all cases with the applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

This means that, at the very least, we must:

  • We process your personal data in accordance with the purpose for which it was provided; these purposes and the type of personal data are set out in this Privacy Policy;
  • The processing of your personal data is limited to only those data that are strictly necessary for the purposes for which they are processed;
  • Ask for your explicit consent where we need it to process your personal data;
  • We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of your personal data;
  • Not to disclose personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary for the purposes for which the data was provided;
  • We want to ensure you are aware of your rights regarding your personal data, to draw your attention to them and to respect them.

Personal data of customers or suppliers

Corrective Cosmetics processes the personal data of customers or suppliers for administrative purposes, to communicate regarding orders and/or invitations, and to fulfil or dispatch the order. The legal basis for processing this personal data is the agreed contract. For this purpose, Webecos may request the following personal data from you:

  • First name;
  • Insert;
  • Surname;
  • (Business) Telephone number;
  • (Business) Email address;
  • Geslacht.

Your personal data will be stored by Corrective Cosmetics for the purposes of the above-mentioned processing(s) for the duration of the contract and, thereafter, solely for financial record-keeping purposes for a maximum of 7 years.

Processing of personal data of newsletter subscribers

Corrective Cosmetics processes the personal data of newsletter subscribers for the purpose of keeping them informed via newsletters. The legal basis for processing this personal data is the newsletter registration form; for this purpose, Corrective Cosmetics may ask you for the following personal data:

  • First name;
  • Insert;
  • Surname;
  • E-mailadres.

Webecos will store your personal data for the purposes of the aforementioned processing for as long as you remain registered.

Processing of personal data relating to prospective customers and interested parties

Corrective Cosmetics processes the personal data of prospects and interested parties for the purpose of providing information in the form of newsletters and/or targeted communications. The legal basis for processing this personal data is verbal consent, the provision of a business card and/or a LinkedIn connection; for this purpose, Webecos may request the following personal data from you:

  • First name;
  • Insert;
  • Surname;
  • Telephone number;
  • E-mailadres.

Webecos will store your personal data for the purposes of the processing operations mentioned above for as long as you are regarded as a prospect or interested party.

Disclosure to third parties

We may disclose the data you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for the purposes described above.

For example, we use a third party for:

  • Maintaining the internet environment;
  • Handling the (financial) administration;
  • Producing newsletters and invitations.

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not entered into a data processing agreement. We naturally make the necessary arrangements with these parties (data processors) to ensure the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not disclose the data you have provided to other parties, unless this is required and permitted by law. An example of this is where the police request (personal) data from us in the context of an investigation. In such a case, we are required to cooperate and are therefore obliged to disclose this data. We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us your written consent to do so.

Within the EU

We do not disclose personal data to parties based outside the EU.

Minors

We process personal data relating to minors (persons under the age of 16) only if written consent has been given by a parent, carer or legal representative.

Retention period

Corrective Cosmetics does not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or as required by law.

Security

We have put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing; for example, we have taken the following measures:

  • All persons who may have access to your data on behalf of Webecos are bound by a duty of confidentiality.
  • We have a username and password policy in place on all our systems;
  • We pseudonymise and encrypt personal data where appropriate;
  • We make backups of personal data so that we can restore it in the event of physical or technical incidents;
  • We regularly test and evaluate our measures;
  • Our staff have been informed of the importance of protecting personal data.

Your rights regarding your data

You have the right to access, rectify or erase the personal data we have received from you. You may also object to the processing of your personal data (or part thereof) by us or by one of our data processors. You also have the right to request that we transfer the data you have provided to you or, at your request, directly to another party. We may ask you to provide proof of identity before we can comply with the aforementioned requests.

If we process your personal data on the basis of consent you have given, you always have the right to withdraw that consent.

Complaints

Should you have a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data, please contact us directly. We would, of course, be very sorry if we were unable to resolve the matter with you. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, which is the supervisory authority responsible for data protection.
